General Return Policy
Regular items in clean like-new condition (excluding saddles, monogrammed or custom/special order products) may be returned for a full refund within 30 days of purchase. After 30 days, an item may only be returned for store credit reflecting its current sale price.

Saddle Return Policy
We understand how important saddle fit is to your riding experience and your horse's comfort. That's why we offer a 5 day trial period on any of our new, used, or lease saddles. Any saddles being shipped from our store must be paid for in full, and may be refunded upon return (less a $75 shipping charge). If we don't hear from you within 5 days of delivery, the sale will be considered final. If the saddle does not work for you, please advise us of your intent to return within 5 days. Sun Valley Saddlery is not responsible for return shipping costs, customs fees, or international duties. Unfortunately, saddles showing signs of wear may only be returned in "demo" condition, and will be subject to a 35% restocking fee.
Custom/Special Order Items
Customized, special order, or monogrammed items are unfortunately not returnable.
We absolutely hate having to charge restocking fees, but we are a small, family-owned business, and cannot absorb the high costs of saddle damage. Therefore, please use care during a saddle trial- wrap stirrup leathers in tube socks or sheepskin for new saddles, do not clean or oil the saddle, keep it covered when not in use, and please do not wear jeans while riding.
If you aren't sure a sheet or blanket will fit your horse, try it on over a clean sheet to keep it in returnable condition.
